Sensors Calibration

The calibration procedure for sensors is essential to ensure highly accurate measurements. In the Sustainable Energy Lab, the sensors undergoing calibration include temperature and relative humidity sensors. For temperature sensor calibration, a temperature-controlled bath is used, as it provides a stable and precisely controlled thermal environment. This allows for the determination of the sensor’s accuracy by measuring its deviation from the reference temperature. For relative humidity sensor calibration, a small chamber is employed to maintain controlled temperature and humidity conditions, ensuring accurate and reliable calibration.
